Submit four photos of yourself: full-length, waist-up, close-up, and profile. These don’t need to be taken professionally.
Guidelines:
- Shoot your photos in natural daylight, but not direct sunlight.
- Photos should be natural, like a passport photo to document your look for us:
- No makeup
- Wear your hair down
- No smiles

Submit two videos of yourself:

Introductory Video: Look straight into the camera and introduce yourself: your name, your age, and where you are from. Then show both of your profiles.

Walking Video: Walk towards the camera, and then away from the camera.
Shoot your videos outdoors in natural daylight but not direct sunlight.

Videos should be natural:
- No makeup
- Wear your hair down

Heroes New York's main interest in this application process is the safety and well-being of aspiring models.

Some individuals have been reported to present themselves as scouts or agents for Heroes New York, some are even copying the appearance of this site to attract potential victims. We are not part of a network, and anyone claiming to be a sister agency is not truthful.

Please do not respond or engage with anybody claiming to be employed by us, and if anyone does contact you, call the agency to verify that they are legitimately employed by us. You should verify our legitimate number through google. If you are under the age of 18, you should not under any circumstances be discussing anything without your parents and/or a responsible adult present.

We will never ask for pictures of you in your underwear or nude, and will never request a fee to represent you.

We also encourage aspiring models not to pay for portfolio images, as all you need to apply are natural pictures from a phone or digital camera.
